that hibernates in the wild, i.e., is not a tropical tortoise) and it is
in good health. Juveniles should be hibernated where possible, as depriving
them of hibernation will result in accelerated growth and an increased risk
of developmental problems. It is essential that where juveniles are to be
hibernated, the conditions are entirely safe. Full details of how to hibernate
