CAN I HOUSE TRAIN MY TORTOISE?

A tortoise's house training potential is nil! They do it as they wander around which makes sense in a wilderness area but is not so nice in a house. CAN I KEEP MY TORTOISE IN A FLAT? In ordinary circumstances, a tortoise should be kept out of doors. Tortoises need sunlight and the outdoor life, and a garden without light is not suitable. If you need to keep your tortoise indoors, instead of hibernating it, get proper advice about equipment, housing, heating and lighting.
