CAN I TRAIN MY GUINEA PIG TO DO TRICKS?

Yes. You can train your guinea pig to come when called by giving it a food treat if it does so and by calling it before putting down its normal food. You can also clicker train your guinea pig using a clicker. A good clicker training book for dogs will explain the principles. Simply adapt these for guinea pigs. But don’t expect it do things it can’t – like sit down! And never ever punish it.
