CAGE HYGEINE

Clean the cage bottom and wipe down spars daily. Scrub wooden bits. Ensure seed and water containers are clean. Once a week clean whole cage inside and out either with soap and water or use a bird disinfectant (from pet shops). You will need to vacuum round the cage at least once if not more times each day, as seeds and feathers go everywhere. Birds soon get used to the sound of the vaccum cleaner.
